DurmechTM continues to thrive.
After a period of ownership under Groupe Fives-Lille
- Bartondale Engineering Ltd purchased the intellectual
property rites of DurmechTM.
From the name and web site to the drawing of the smallest
component Bartondale, a high quality Engineering company
based in the Industrial valleys of South Wales, has
taken on all aspects of the design development, production
and maintenance of metal coil handling lines manufactured
under the DurmechTM brand.
Bartondale operates a certified Quality Management
System which complies with the strict requirements of
BS EN ISO 9002 in addition to holding the prestigious
Investors in People Marque which ensures they have the
highest trained and skilled of engineers producing their
process lines.
Focusing on the spare parts and maintenance of lines
currently in service around the world Bartondale have
encountered considerable interest from customers for
new lines.

Spare parts orders shoot up
Since taking over the DurmechTM brand Bartondale have
been inundated with orders for replacement parts and
maintenance requests. To date over 1000 replacement
parts have been sent out to customers all over the world.

Engineering, owners of the DurmechTM brand
name, is situated in the industrial valleys of South
Wales and designs, manufactures and installs coil-handling
equipment allied to the steel and aluminium industries.
The majority of our present customers are engaged in
the processing of coiled material from major rolling
mills, which is supplied to customers who in turn further
process manufacture components and finished products.

Engineering, owners of the DURMECH brand
name, commenced trading in January 1987 as a subsidiary
of a South Wales based engineering group before being
subject to a management buy-out by its current owners.
Since it's conception it has grown to become a successful
and well-respected high quality Engineering Company.
The factory is conveniently located on the Hirwaun
Industrial Estate, 20 miles North West of Cardiff in
the hart of Industrial South Wales and adjacent to the
A465 Head of the Valley road.
